Is this unit usable in crank out windows? null

Thanks so much for your interest in this air conditioner. We're always happy to help you beat the heat. However, this exhaust hose does not come set up to install in a crank style window. Installation and ensuring the setup is air tight would require some crafty modifications. Thanks. - John@GEAppliances

You might be able to find a window vent kit that would fit a crank out window, but the one that comes in the box with this unit would probably not work for that application without considerable "customizing". It's designed for windows that slide.
