“How do you install this with a 27 inch window? If I use one of the extra plates, it partially covers the exhaust hole and wont allow the exhaust tube to be connected. If I install the tube first, it leave the entire cover about 3 inches to long.”

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hello. We're sorry that you've been having trouble, but we're happy to help. You can install the exhaust hose assembly by twisting the round adapter counterclockwise into the exhaust port on the back of the air conditioner. For a 27'' opening, insert one side panel to the middle panel. Place the Window Kit into the window opening (the Cam Locks should be towards you) and slide the side panels outward to fill the opening. Lock the panels in place with the Cam Locks. Slide the window shut against the Window Kit. Then, connect the Exhaust Hose to the Window Panel making sure that the air conditioner is vented to the outside.
