Is a good A/C unit for the cost. It got us out of a jam while waiting for our central unit to be fixed. The front of our apartment stayed nice and cool and the back rooms got slightly cooler. Easy to work, is a bit noisy but does the job. Oh and it has wheels to make it easy to move around. Good product.

It cools great but a few weeks into owning started leaking. GE refused to fix it and offered to reimburse if I bought their product again, which I didn’t want. Two years in the compressor is on its way out. This is my GE second ac that only lasted that long. Not cheap either.

This unit really cools fast , after searching different places we bought this one not only because GE brand is a respectable brand , we bought another unit before with 14000 btu Hisense brand and after 6 hours on full got nothing cold , so we return it and got this one . The only reason I don’t give it 5 stars is because I think the price is can be better and not that high and I normally like units with direct flow tours me and not aim that high , but in 15 and using it on low setting my 20x 25 room feels really cold . Also I hope future units come with longer exhaust to have better placement if want accommodate not so close to window ( maybe 2 feet extra helps )

This unit has been running non-stop since the heat wave began. I’s say about 3 weeks. Easy to operate and keeps the sunroom cool. I did add room darkening curtains just in the windows where the unit is to block direct sun on the unit. Haven’t gotten the notification to empty the condensation yet. Orange employees were wonderful to work with. Happy with purchase.

The Master bedroom is the size of a living room with only one a/c vent. The warmest room in the house! I set it up in 10 minutes. My husband isn't that handy, so I told him how to secure the deal. It worked INSTANTLY! It's not only attractive, it's quite efficient! I set the thermostat to 70°, like the main one. It was 80° and after ONLY 3 hours, it's already 70° in here, too! In truth, there's nothing actually to assemble. The remote comes with batteries, I set it on MED, other than LOW or HIGH. The remote has Power, Mode, Temp/HRS, Fan Speed, Timer and Swing. My Assistant picked it up on her way here @ 11am, it's 9pm and I feel like I already have my money's worth! It says it covers 550 SF and the Master is over 650 SF and by far the coldest room!

Perfect unit for my room size. Our family had a smaller unit and it didn’t do the job as affective as this one. Cools the room in a couple minutes and maintains it cold in this summer heat. The noice might bother some if you’re not used to units like this but it’s worth it to me. Would recommend to anyone with a larger room.

I like this, Easy to set up, Cools my large, open living room nicely. Only gripe, window spacer 33in, most windows 32in Horizontal. Would Highly Recommend.

The reviews of this unit did not let me down! Love the remote. When temperature reached the unit idles. During the 100* days Outside kept room at 72*. The simplicity of set up was a breeze. Kept the sturdy box to store in winter.

It’s a bit noise but for a room that can’t have your traditional ac unit it’s perfect to cool down. Cools down in minutes. OK

In the name of the product it says it 14000btu. This is incorrect, its a 9850 btu ac unit and on the box its rated for 14000 ashrae. which is a different unit of meserment then btu's. Also in the few hour's I've had it, it haven't cooled off the room to much. I'll give it a few day but i may be returning this unit.

I really like this AC unit. We have old fashion windows that lead out to a balcony in our bedroom and it’s so convenient. It’s a little loud but that’s ok. Lol

The house staying cool without spending to much money. The portable air conditioner GE is amazing. Now we enjoy movies and quality time together as a family. Avoid open the blinds and curtains,keep living room cool. Is the best by and affordable for us.Great.

We love this Portable air conditioner! It’s our 2nd GE one and it works better than the last. Originally bought the unit below this one and a few days into owning it this one went on sale for the same price so we exchanged it. It’s quiet and rarely has to be drained when running on Cool in our climate. We live in an area where the highest temps are usually the middle 80’s so we can’t attest to its cooling abilities in any thing higher. The unit is cooling about 800 sq feet in an area with a vaulted ceiling without a problem. We are very happy with this purchase! We have it set up to vent out of a sliding glass dog door insert. Unfortunately all of our houses windows are casement and the included vent kit would not work for our needs. We came up with this idea to make this work and it turned out better than we expected.

Our AC went out...purchased this in the 'heat' of the moment and saved our sanity! One of the nicer units they offer, and it does not disappoint. Kept half of the house at a decent temperature until we were able to fix the house unit.

Excellent unit without complicated controls, or complicated parts to install. Best Buy delivered fast to my door. I will buy again.

This portable AC works very well. Its not going to make a large room ice cold but it makes the room livable which is what I needed it for. A small room it would turn it into an ice box. I definitely recommend this unit.

More thsn enough to chill an average size room. Also don’t need to worry about drain water because of new technology. Fantastic product
