Hi, Thanks for asking! We're glad you like this model and we're here to help. Our rule of thumb is to never place anything between the plug and the outlet, ie. no grounding adapters, no extension cords, no surge protectors. You can find the electrical requirements of this model on page 9 of the Use and Care manual.
