I have it plugged into an outlet in my living room. 15 amp breaker. It all depends on what else you have plugged into that circuit, but you shouldn’t have a problem anywhere. I’m a licensed electrician and have not tripped the breaker on any setting on the unit.

We appreciate your interest, and understand how important knowing the electrical requirements for the model are. Some models do require a 115/120-volt AC, 60-Hz grounded outlet that is protected by a 15-amp time-delay fuse or circuit breaker. Information regarding the electrical requirements for the unit is available in the use and care manual, if needed. We hope this information is helpful, and as long as the unit fits your needs we are confident it would be a wonderful addition to your household! If you have any other concerns or questions, we're glad to help. All the best! -Sarah@GEA
