Hey there, and thanks for reaching out. We certainly understand how concerning it must be to have an issue with fitting the exhaust hose, and would like to assist. This unit is meant to be connected to a window for exhausting. It comes with a window kit that can fit a window from 20" to 46" wide. Unfortunately we cannot recommend using a predrilled port in the wall, as we have not tested that style of installation for safety and reliability.
