No check vent, must be vented properly
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I would check to see if the exhaust vent is working properly, and make sure it’s not clogged or has came disconnected.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hi there - we're glad to assist with this concern. We're very sorry to hear that the unit is heating up your kitchen more than you would have expected. We know how inconvenient this can be and understand your concern about the dryer's performance. -- There are a few factors to consider before contacting us for service. One of the most important things to remember with dryers is that these units require proper airflow to work properly. Please inspect the vent coming off the back of the dryer and check to ensure that the vent hose has not kinked or collapsed. You can go further and verify if this situation could be caused by a vent problem since this is an electric dryer. Disconnect the vent from the back of the dryer and run a load or two. If the symptoms continue there may be a service issue with the dryer. If the symptoms go away, it is likely that there is a venting problem. -- If this doesn't seem to be a venting or installation issue, we strongly suggest taking advantage of your warranty and scheduling a service appointment. You can do by calling us at: 1-800-432-2737. -- We hope this was insightful. Have a great day. - Pablo@GEA
