Hey Richt, If you are using the C by GE bulbs with a C by GE in-wall wired switch, the switch will know that you are using our bulbs (its a setting you choose at setup in the C by GE app) and you can turn on and off the switch like normal with no impact to the functionality of the bulbs. If you are using a C by GE plug, however, we do not recommend plugging a device that has C by GE bulbs installed in it. The plug cuts the power to the device and the bulbs need constant power to function properly.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I think I’m understanding your question right. These lightbulbs will turn off if the switch connected to them turns off. However if they’re turned back on by that switch they will go to the last didn’t position. So if they were 5% when the light is turned on it’ll go back at 5% if they’re at 100% will go back to 100%. I hope that answers your question
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Main switch seems to over-ride and operate like standard bulbs if turned off then back on. Leave swich on all the time for "smart" function.
