“Are you able to buy a replacement sensor cover for this. I put water in a cup to heat and it sparked and burnt a small whole in it. i hate to replace whole microwave. It’s only 2 years old”

Hi there - The cardboard (mica) covers the waveguide system that feeds microwave energy into the cavity and should not be removed. The microwave should not be used for any function if this cardboard cover is not in place or is damaged.
