Compared to GE Model # JP5030DJBB, this Profile model has 5 Elements (vs 4)- Center 9"/6" 3100W Power Boil, Beveled Edges, Glide Touch Controls (Play Video: https://www.youtube.com/embed/57kqf2Fmcl0?rel=0), Custom Settings and Multi-Element Timer (Play Video: https://www.youtube.com/embed/xT2TprDoFbk?rel=0). I believe the major difference is that the Profile version has 5 heating elements vs 4 on the non Profile version. There are some other minor differences but the number of heating elements is the big one. Fyi, we have been happy with our Profile version.
