“Brand new out of box, followed the setup instructions, did the cleaning cycle, drained. It went into Making Ice mode, but no ice. Then goes to defrost mode. It just keeps cycling between these modes and no ice. Unplugged overnight and still doing this.”

Leave it plugged in. Mine did this & I thought it was broken, even called customer service. After just leaving it plugged in about 2-3 hours...... it started out of nowhere

Same. It went a day or so without doing anything, then suddenly started up and has been making full bins of ice ever since. Can't explain.
