“I have a GE Profile Model PEM31SM3SS that just stopped (keyboard short). It was in a little built in cubby above the counter. I can't seem to find any microwave that is than 12 inches high. The current one is 11/3/16 and slides in perfectly. Any choices?”

Hi DD - Thanks for reaching out to us! The current comparable model is GE Profile™ 1.1 Cu. Ft. Countertop Microwave Oven Model #: PEM31SFSS (Dimensions: 12 1/8H x 24W x 12 7/8D). GE® 0.7 Cu. Ft. Capacity Countertop Microwave Oven Model #: JEM3072SHSS is 10 1/8"H x 17 1/4"W x 13"D. Countertop Microwaves (not installed with a trim kit) need adequate air clearance on each side, the rear and the top to function properly. This allows good circulation for the intake and discharge air vents. Allow 3" of clearance on both sides and the top, 1" clearance in the rear.
