“I have a GE Profile model PEM31SM3ss and want to replace it with a newer model, possibly with convection. The PEM31SM3ss is built into my cabinets so the replacement would need to have the same dimensions. What model would I be looking at? thanks”

Hi Kamr- Thanks for your loyalty! The latest model is GE Profile™ Series 1.1 Cu. Ft. Countertop Microwave Oven PEM31SFSS. Trim Kits are not interchangeable. It is compatible with GE® Optional 27" Built-In Trim Kit JX827SFSS and Optional 30" Built-In Trim Kit JX830SFSS (sold separately).
