“I have a GE JEM31SF001 that is built in with a trim kit. I understand the replacement unit is PEM31SMSS, which is also no longer being manufactured. Is there a current replacement for either of these that will fit 11 3/16 in x 23 7/8 in x 12 9/32 in?”

Hi Kelly- This is Sue at GE Appliances. We certainly appreciate your loyalty! The comparable replacement is our GE PROFILE™ SERIES 1.1 CU. FT. COUNTERTOP MICROWAVE OVEN PEM31SFSS. It is compatible with OPTIONAL 30" BUILT-IN TRIM KIT JX830SFSS and OPTIONAL 27" BUILT-IN TRIM KIT JX827SFSS. The only difference between the 27" and 30" trim kit is the trim frame. If the microwave is installed over a 27" or 30" wall oven, be sure to match the trim kit width to the oven.
