“I have a JEM25GY Spacemaker II with a built in kit JX827BN. It died after 17 years of good service. I believe the PEM31DFBB may work as a replacement. Is that true? (cut out Width = 24 3/4", H 15", D 18"). I still have the mounting kit. Can I reuse?”

Hi - Thanks for your loyalty! GE Profile™ Series 1.1 Cu. Ft. Countertop Microwave Oven PEM31DFBB is the comparable replacement. It is compatible with GE® Optional 27" Built-In Trim Kit JX827DFBB and Optional 30" Built-In Trim Kit JX830DFBB. Trim Kits are not interchangeable. A trim kit consists of the trim frame, as well as an upper, lower, and rear duct that attaches to and encases the microwave inside the cabinet cut-out. It is important to only use the trim kit designed for that model.
