“I need to replace a GE Spacemaker II microwave (#JEM25WY 001). It is installed as a built in within cabinetry and has a metal trim kit around it. Any current GE microwaves that will fit the trim kit or any suggestions for new kit and microwave? Thanks!”

Hi Reg7347- We certainly appreciate your loyalty! The comparable model is our GE Profile™ Series 1.1 Cu. Ft. Countertop Microwave Oven PEM31DFWW. It is compatible with GE® Optional 27" Built-In Trim Kit JX827DFWW and Optional 30" Built-In Trim Kit JX830DFWW. Trim Kits are not interchangeable. A trim kit consists of the trim frame, as well as an upper, lower, and rear duct that attaches to and encases the microwave inside the cabinet cut-out. It is important to only use the trim kit designed for that model.
