I have read in some of the questions that the top broiler doesn't actually work as a broiler? What temperature range does it have? I have always used a broiler to toast my bread, but requires max temp to do it quickly. Will this still be able to do that? null

Hi BigD67- The gas broil burner is in the lower oven. The low power electric element in the upper oven does not get hot enough to broil. Rather, it is there to provide the right amount of top heat for browning during bake. The lower oven offers Broil Hi/Lo.  The Broil High (550F) mode uses intense heat from the upper element or burner to sear foods. The Broil Lo (450F) uses less intense heat from the upper element or burner to cook food thoroughly while
