A:AnswerIf measuring the door, this lovely dishwasher is also 23 1/2" wide. However, the actual opening it slides into will need to be 24" wide. We encourage you to measure the opening between your cabinets to see what you have to work with.
A:AnswerHey,

A:AnswerHey there,
Thanks so much for reaching out. We're happy to answer your question. The heavy cycle has an approximate wash time of 2.5 hours. Factors such as soil level and other options can increase total time. Let us know if you have any additional questions. Mike@GEA
A:AnswerHey there,
We'll be glad to answer your question. Bottle compatibility will depend on the bottle's height, thickness and how it sits on top of the Bottle Jets. Most models will have approximately 9 inches of clearance. An additional 2” is possible on dishwasher models with an adjustable upper rack, placed in the lower position. For models with both the 3rd rack and the adjustable upper rack features, approximately 7 inches of clearance is possible in the top rack position and 9 inches in the lower position. We hope this is helpful. Wishing you well. Mike@GEA
A:AnswerHello, thank you for reaching out to us! To mute the dishwasher control sound, press the “Dry Boost” pad five times within five seconds. Wash cycle times can vary depending on the settings you select. For the “Normal” cycle, the completion time range is 1 hour 15 minutes to 1 hour 50 minutes. For more information on this, please refer to page 7 of your unit’s “Use and Care Manual”.
We hope you have a great day! – Matthew@GEA
A:AnswerHey there, thanks so much for the interest in our dishwasher. Yes, we can tell you this has a "Clean" light to indicate once a cycle is finished. This light is located on the top controls, but you can still see the light at an angle/certain height without having to open the door. Let us know if you need anything else. We'd love to have you in our GEA family. - Guy@GEA
A:AnswerHey there and thanks for considering GE Appliances for your home. We’re happy to let you know this dishwasher doesn’t require a garbage disposal for use. This unit has a hard food disposer that pulverizes food particles to help prevent clogging. If we can help answer any additional questions, let us know. -Gina@GEA
A:AnswerHi there, and thanks for reaching out. We hate to hear you’ve had an issue with the detergent dispenser not opening – we know that must be frustrating. If detergent is still in the dispenser when the load is done, the dispenser may be blocked. You may want to reposition the dishes so the water from the lower spray arm isn’t being blocked from flushing the detergent cup (and make sure nothing is clogging the holes in the spray arm). Moving tall items that may be keeping the detergent dispenser door from opening is also recommended, and no large items should be directly under the dispenser. If you’re sure the detergent dispenser isn’t opening at all and isn’t being blocked, service may be necessary; that department can be reached at 1-800-432-2737. We hope this issue is solved for you soon, so you can enjoy your dishwasher without inconvenience. If you have any other questions or concerns, we’re always happy to help – all the best! -Sarah@GEA
A:AnswerIt cost $99 to install a GFI plug since I didn’t have one. The Geek Squad install was free. There was an additional charge for a water line connection kit, also. I believe it was around $59.
A:AnswerI had the same situation. They charged an additional $99 to install a GFI plug to connect the dishwasher. It was done the same day as the dishwasher install.
A:AnswerPerhaps you are overloading it. Leave space between dishes so the water can spray between them. Make sure dry cycle is turned on. This dishwasher wasn't worth it's price.
A:AnswerI believe it has to do with the cycle that you are using. The 1hr cycle I believe does not have the drying option in case that’s the one you’re using.
