Per the owners manual page 23, "0" clearances all around but adequate clearance for installation and ventilation. Confusing. Our Best Buy installer placed it a few inches from a left corner for free flow of water supplies and drainage. Can be used in a closet with louvered or otherwise ventilated doors and at least 60 square inches of open area per manual
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hey there! Our Combo would be a great fit for installation in a closet, as it requires no extra clearance on the sides, top or front. It can also be set up to have 0” of rear clearance required, if you use 90 degree elbow hoses. Otherwise, additional clearance may be needed in the back to avoid rubbing of the hoses against the wall. Closet doors should also be louvered or otherwise ventilated and have at least 60 square inches of open area. If more installation details may be helpful, you can view the full installation instructions on our GE Appliances website, when you look up the model number and go to the product page; they start on page 22 of the manual. We’re confident the Combo would be a great fit for you, and we hope this helps! -Sarah@GEA
