Q: QuestionI just had my Samsung Gas Range installed yesterday and while using the to oven Last night there was a banging noise that sounded like a hammer hitting it that’ lasted about five seconds. I turned it off. What do I need to do?

• A:Answer I would call Best Buy and return it immediately. I think there is a 15 day return window. If it is beyond that and you have Geek Squad call and have them come fix it. If not, you may have to go through the manufacturer warranty. Wondering if it is an install issue though??

Q: QuestionThe timer on my dishwasher is off. For auto clean, the time starts at 2:10. Since it's so quiet, I set my oven timer for 2:00. I happened to be by the machine when it finished, but the timer on my oven still had 15 minutes left. How do I get this fixed?

• A:Answer I feel the best thing to do is contact the Geek Squad. I believe that can calibrate to correct. I would NOT go to any 3rd. party for repair. Could be very costly.

Q: QuestionThis is on top of the manufacturers warranty right? So if the MFG warranty is for 2 years all parts and labor and 5 years for parts and labor ( P&L ) for motor and compressor. I get 7 years all P&L and 10 years P&L motor and compressor coverage?

• A:Answer We got free delivery, but when they offered installation, it was going to cost $165. We opted to have a friend, who is a plumber, install. We were never told that it had to be installed by one of their installers. Besides I don't think there is a warranty on the install, just the dishwasher. If it is installed incorrectly, then I would hope your plumber is honest enough to fix it free for you.
