“Does the camera have light detection, I mean I have it in a grow tent, and am wondering if it would notify me if my light timer malfunctioned and the lights came on when they aren't supposed to would it let me know ,Thanks”

I don’t believe there is a “light detection” setting which would trigger an alarm/notification. With mine however, if I have the motion detection alerts/notifications on, and remotely turn off that room’s light (no motion other than the light turning off), I will receive an alert to my phone indicating that motion was detected. I hope this helps.
