“Is it normal for there to be white bleed-through towards, but not directly on the corners of the screen? And kind of toward the top and bottom. Most noticeable in darker settings but it's really obvious and hard to ignore.”

Yes the backlighting isn't very uniform. It is something I knocked it for in my review.
