I would say go into your windows power settings and adjust the minimum cpu usage up to 75% to 100% so that windows stops throttling it up and down which can cause lag or other issues in games. I would also say go to Nvidia and get their latest drivers. It's always good to keep it up to date to function properly with your games. Also close anything else you are not using that is running in the background unless you upgraded the laptop memory to 32GB or higher. WIndows tends to eat up a lot of memory by itself, also I removed copilot and the AI software from gigabite as it was eating up too much memory and cpu to allow for good performance. Cheers and good luck!
