In mine it was a single stick, but it maybe different for older versions of this model. If you open it up(screws on the bottom removed and then use an opening tool that comes with most basic computer screw driver/repair kits), you can easily see which it is for yourself. There are kits for pc/laptop repairs you can find on amazon fairly cheaply like around 12 to 15 dollars that have every size of screw driver and have cleaning and other things in them that will help with opening your laptop. Though I would say do so carefully and at your own risk. Might void your warranty too depending if you have any time left on it or not. cheers and good luck!
