CD audio is 44.1kHz/16-bit. If you rip it any higher you are just wasting disk space and not adding anything to the quality. The only way to get higher resolution audio than a CD is if the copyright holder decides to make it available in a format other than CD. This tends to be pretty rare and/or expensive. The only music store I know of for this is HDtracks.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.First, your CDs store data in 44.1KHz/16-bit. You can't rip them at higher or there is no point doing that. Second, you'll have to decide how to store your media files. If you want to store it in a server, you can put in a UPNP server on top of it and use BubbleUNP on the android phone to cast it. You can also use Plex and then cast it from Plex on chrome. If you store it on the phone, I believe Google Play will work.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The chromecast is just a target device, the app would run on your phone or tablet.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.don't know if this will help, but you can use Google Play Music app, which lets you upload up to 20,000 songs. This will make them available on the app, and you can stream it to any Google Cast device. as for the audio quality, here is the info from google's website: 16 and 24-bit mono or stereo files supported Files are converted to 320 kbps .mp3 files
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Based on the problems I have had streaming compressed music files with Chromecast, I cannot even fathom this thing being able to stream such a large file. Studio Master files are pretty big and would require a high amount of bandwith throughput on a stable wifi platform. Good luck! I know Sonos is capable of cd quality, and they are working on 24bit technology. Sonos also streams on its own wifi system separate from your router. I own both Sonos and Chromecast, however Sonos is a far superior product. Although pricey, If you take the plunge with Sonos you will never look back. :)
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Setup Plex (https://plex.tv/) and add your music to your Plex library and enjoy. Its great for Movies, Music and TV series you own and managing your own media. Disclaimer: I have no affilication to Plex. Just been using their product for years and really enjoy the functionality.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Not sure of a music manager, but I play flac files via power amp on my phone and google music manager on my pc. The google manager may be what your looking for, but you will have to upload your music for it to work.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You can "mirror" audio directly form you PC or laptop, so that should work. I would suggest you ask the chromecast community as someone probably has already done what you are trying to do https://support.google.com/chromecast/?hl=en#topic=6279362
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. If you use Google Play Music (https://play.google.com/music/listen), you have the ability to upload up to 50,000 (not a typo) high res songs for free, and of course it is 100% compatible with Chromecast.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No there is not.
