I have not experienced the sound cutting out like you are. Maybe like once a week that happens but it's more like the Chromecast disconnects and I have to re-cast. It happens rarely. I can stream music for hours and hours with no problems.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I had a similar problem with the Chromecast earlier this year but since updating my router I haven't had any drops. You may want to check your router location, signal strength, and internet speeds to see if they are possible causes.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It may be your WiFi router that is cutting off. Had an old router and had the same problem as you. Replaced the router and now it's a good connection. One thing I noticed was when there is no sound playing as in music is paused, background noises play in.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You may want to run a WiFi analyzer of the area your Chromecast Audio resides. Check if the channel your WiFi network broadcasts is competing with other WiFi spots. Pick the least congested channel. This worked well for us.
