As long as you are using two different apps. For instance, you will be able to listen to Pandora through your headphones while casting YouTube to the TV.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.No. All the phone/tablet functions for the app you are casting are basically put in the background.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Tricky, because normally the casting software is going to assume you want sound and audio to all go together. I haven't seen that option, which is a software feature, on any apps.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I do not believe you can separate the audio and video your streaming from one app. The only possible solution is casting your screen (let your device mirror your screen while you have headphones connected). WARNING: it will play on your phone as well and use your device's battery intensively.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No, the audio and video are sent together, you can't play one on the Chromecast and the other on your phone.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I cannot answer this for the new model, but in the old version, casting disabled audio from both analog ports and bluetooth. You could only have audio going to one output and if you were casting, that was the output. But I'd also like to know if the new model supports simultaneous multi-audio or just being able to select the audio out independently of casting.
