I don't think so - Time warner was recommending the Samsung Smart TVs or Roku devices to run the TWC TV app. You could probably run TWC Tv from web browser/computer and cast it, but that's a lot of work to watch the news! https://www.timewarnercable.com/en/support/faqs/faqs-tv/twctvapp/what-devices-can-i-access.html

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Chromecast is a separate device that you plug into your tv using it's usb port. This should have nothing to do with your cable provider. TWC should give you a box that plugs into your tv via coaxial cables. Now, if your talking about their streaming/online viewing, then I'm not quite sure. Directv also has this offered to it's customer but does not allow you to "cast" your programs from your phone or tablet to the chromecast. I have never used TWC online viewing.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This does not replace a cable box. It is a streaming device for use with programs like Netflix, YouTube, Hulu, HBO, WatchESPN, etc. You can get around this by using the TWC TV website and casting the tab to your TV or something like that, but TWC is intentionally not supporting chromecast to try to get you to pay for one of their boxes.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Chromecast allows you to play from your computer or smartphone on the TV. it's not related to your cable subscription or what stations you get.
