I'm set up but i can't connect to my Mac laptop null

To connect a computer the chrome browser is required. In the chrome Web store search for google cast and install the plug in.

You'll need a phone, tablet, or laptop computer to set up Chromecast. You can set up Chromecast by first navigating to cast.google.com/chromecast/setup.

Get the chromecast app they have to be on the same wi fi

You will need to download the Chrome browser, then you add the Chromecast add on in the browser, and you can cast from there.

In order to get my Macbook to work with Chromecast, I had to download Google Chrome and only stream what is in the browser. I can stream my entire computer using apple tv but as far as chromecast goes, it only streams google chrome.

As far as I know, it will not stream from iTunes; you need AppleTV for that. We use this for Netflix, YouTube, etc

i believe that for Mac or PC you need to cast using the Chrome browser. Downlad the browser, the get then add-on at the chrome web store. Hope this helps ;)
