“Will it work with a SmartBoard? I am a teacher and would like to use it to project my iPad to my Smart Board. Is this possible?”

• For an iPad, you are going to want the Apple TV. I am not familiar with compatibility with Smart Boards, but this would be the device to connect it to a TV or LCD projector.

• If the SmartBoard has an HDMI input, then yes, you can use this product with the SmartBoard.

• It might be possible in the future but it's currently not supported. You can only stream your CHROME browser tabs. But nothing else. You might want to get an apple tv for that.

• I am a teacher too. Our SMART boards do not have HDMI ports but ones manufactured in the past year or two do have HDMI ports and can stream Chrome Cast, from what I have learned.

• Not quite sure. If your smartboard has an HDMI input and your iPad application supports chromecast (download Google Chromecast to check compatibility with your app), then yes, it should work.

• There is a great app called castpad on the chromecast that will allow you to do this. The app is like $0.99. I have all three devices, this (the Google Chromecast) would be the best solution to your need.

• If you're looking to screen mirroring no. But if you want to use chromecast supported apps, then yes (assuming the smart board has HDMI input). O ly android devices can currently screen mirror to chromecast. If you need to mirror an iPad to an HDMI device you will need to use an appletv. Also of won't send input from the smartboard to the tablet.
