• You don't use "sites" you use apps... I believe Crackle is free and has movies... there are probably others... for a list of current supported apps see the link below... https://www.google.com/chrome/devices/chromecast/apps.html#?category=movies

• You can stream pretty much any video site to your chrome cast using the tab streaming feature in chrome, and if you're using a movie app, it probably has casting support built into it.

• Depends on the app. There are some apps that have free movies or shows. I think Google or Amazon provide free movies for the chromecast also.
