Yes, this is the primary reason I bought it. Wanted to listen to YouTube videos on my home theater system.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I believe you can install an extension on Chrome internet browser to stream things from your computer to your TV. I'm not sure what this let's you stream, other than youtube and your browser.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.From "Play Movies" I would say yes (haven't tried). The Google Music works so I don't see why the movies will not. For other apps or movie files, you probably will need third party apps, try "All Cast" or "Cast to UPnP/DNLA" those might work or you might find info about other ways to do it

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.For mobile only certain apps are compatible like netflix, you tube and chromecast. From your latop you can cast whatever is playing in your chrome browser so if you are streaming a movie it will play both audio and video if you play at full screen.
