• Yes. Install the Chromecast app on your smartphone and you'll be able to view anything on your phone's screen on your TV.

• I don't know if Twitter natively supports Chromecast. However, if you can access Twitter from Chrome browser running on any device, it will work with the Google Cast browser extension. Just click the little Cast icon on the Chrome address bar.

• Yes. Aside from watching videos Chromecast can be used to simply mirror on your TV whatever is displayed on your device.

• You can cast the screen of your Android phone, or any tab from the Chrome browser on your laptop. So if your phone/laptop is on the Twitter website, yes. :-) (Caveat...I don't think phone screen mirroring works on iPhone, and the tab casting only works with Chrome, not other browsers.)

• This chrome app allows you to cast your live tab to a chromecast that is setup on the same network. I would just set that to your twitter feed and as it updates, it will be viewed on your TV. https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/google-cast/boadgeojelhgndaghljhdicfkmllpafd?hl=en

• You can use your laptop or desktop to transmit your screen to the TV, but there isn't a specific Twitter function incorporated into the chrome cast or twitter app.

• Yes, if you have an android phone which can work with screencast option. You can choose this option from the chromecast app on your phone/tablet.

• You cannot post & view tweets using the Chromecast HDMI Streaming Media Play. It's not a computer it only allow your TV to receive streamed content via wifi.
