“Local news channels CanI I get local channels if I only have antanna tv and reception isn't very good ?”

• You can watch anything and everything you can find on the internet using Chrome as your browser. Some things are blocked--like you can't watch movies on youtube, etc. But if you're savvy and take the time to search the web there are several websites out there where you can watch movies--even movies that are still on in the theatres--as well as TV shows--including pay channel and Netflix only TV shows--online and have your chromcast mirror it on your TV. You are only limited by your imagination and your ability to find content to watch. So basically you can watch anything if you work hard enough at it.

• Chromecast is not able to get local TV. But you can buy online TV service and cast it to your TV via chromecast

• The Google chromecast is a streaming device. It lets you send videos from your phone, tablet, or pc/laptop to your TV using wifi. So no it won't get any channels

• If the local channel has a website and can be watched online, yes. However, the Chromecast device is not a television receiver.

• This is not a TV channel thing, it uses WiFi to get the stuff it displays. Anything regarding your TV and your antenna is completely separate from this.

• This has nothing to do with local broadcast channels however there are a few on demand networks like Fox, Disney, and HGTV if that matters to you.
