You could watch different shows, but you would need to use a different device to cast to each TV. Use the phone for one, and tablet for the other. Or cast from the Chrome browser using a computer on one of them.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hypothetically yes, although, you will not be able to watch 2 or more Netflix out hulu shows simultaneously because the app only allows you to cast to one screen (or one device - chromecast). But the hypothetical is that if you were casting from hulu to one device and Netflix to another device, using the same phone/tablet. As long as each service points to a separately named cjromecast, this can be done. (Pause.... trying this right now on 2 of my chromecasts)... and the answer is... YES. As long as the apps are independently run, each casting to a separate chromecast device (and provided your broadband can handle the multiple video streams) no problem and worked perfectly on 3 devices simultaneously. The evil thing I thought about is that this could be an effective control over lights out for a kid, when it is decided you want to stop a stream and take it out of their control, from a central device. Hope that helps
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, each one would be capable of displaying different content
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No, you need one phone/tablet/computer per TV/Chromecast to watch different shows on different TVs. You can control multiple Chromecast through a phone, just need to select which one to control at a time.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. That is correct. You can cast different or the same media to every chromecast in the house
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes you can!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You should be able to. If there are multiple Chromecasts, you can choose which tab casts to which device. It will be more intensive on your wifi/control device, but it should work, theoretically.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Nope. You cannot use single phone to cast different shows on each tv. In a way chromecast uses your WIFI network as a base. Even though you have two devices and both are connected under same WIFI, it will stream the same on both the tv's.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No, only one tablet/cell phone/PC can connect with each Chrome Cast.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This device would only allow connection to your Wifi network. The limitation on what could be streamed to each TV via your tablet would be a function of that device.
