What is little pushbutton for at end of device? null

That button is used to factory reset the Chromecast. If you ever experience issues with the Chromecast connecting, you would use that button during the troubleshooting process. I've never had to use it, but I was curious what is was for as well, so I investigated.

Hold down the button (next to the micro USB port) on your Chromecast for at least 25 seconds or until the solid light begins flashing. Then disconnect the USB power cable. Wait a few seconds. Connect the USB cable again. This will factory reset Chromecast (factory data reset).

That little button on the Chromecast is a reset button. Press it and hold it until the device reboots. I have been told the it will clear some issues.

Resetting the chromecast if it stops responding and puts it back to default settings.

I believe it's the reset button.

THERE IS NO BUTTON ON DEVICE. THAT LITTLE IS LIGHT SHOWN POWER & DEVICE IS CONNECTED

that should be the power button

There is no push button that's a light. It plugs straight into tv and then u plug it into the wall that's it.Works great.
