• Yes, you need to use a compatible mobile phone or a tablet to set it up. After setup, you can also cast a Chrome browser tab from your laptop in addition to a mobile phone and a tablet to cast content from the partnering streaming apps to your TV. Your TV remote won't work with Chromecast.
