Yes, google fi will provide you a phone number like any other cell service providers.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I know if you already have a phone number you can just transfer it to your new Google Fi account that is what I did when I bought it. However, when your doing the initial activation it will give you a brand new number that you can use if you don’t have a number you would like to transfer. Hope this helps!
