Yes you will. You will get a number when you activate or you can bring your number over.

I know if you already have a phone number you can just transfer it to your new Google Fi account that is what I did when I bought it. However, when your doing the initial activation it will give you a brand new number that you can use if you don’t have a number you would like to transfer.
