Battery life will depend on factors including activity, temperature, and camera settings that you select. You can extend the battery life of your camera by adjusting video quality, length of video clips, time between recorded events, and using activity zones to monitor specific areas. Here are some typical scenarios: Busy: About 1.5 months battery life (about 20 - 25 recorded events per day) Typical: About 3 months battery life (about 9 - 12 recorded events per day) Quiet: About 7 months battery life (about 2 - 4 recorded events per day) Also, Nest Cam only takes around 4-5 hours to fully charge the battery.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have the cameras and I have to charge every 3 days - there is no months that these cameras run.. Maybe if you put it inside of a hall closet that you don’t use !!! I have had them for 3 weeks and literally every 3 days I have to charge them - I have original nest cams and love them - not so excited about this google nest battery cameras. I use outside to watch when my horse has its baby - I can only log in every hour for a few min to check or battery only lasts a day.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I see there are a lot of questions about how long the charge lasts. basically, how much traffic you have determines how long it lasts.. I found the Wasserstein Premium Solar Panel for Google Nest Cam Outdoor or Indoor, Battery - 3.5W Solar Power - Made for Google Nest. This higher wattage solar power works like a dream. If you find a spot with good sun, it will keep it charged. I have had it connected over a year and a half and never charge the camera. Plus it has a nice long cord. I will be buying amother,
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.7 DAYS! I installed one over my driveway... It lasted 7 days. That's pathetic. I set it to only record people and vehicles, so not even all motion. This is a joke of a product. #1 There should be a dedicated power source if the battery is this weak. #2 Beware - The 2-pack only comes with one cord to charge both cameras, so if you hook the short power cord up to the camera with an extension cord (it's a short cord) as a permanent source you lose it to charge the second camera. Two different BB sales members told me 6 mos. It lasted 7 days. Google & Best Buy should be ashamed of this product, such a disaster. I can't imagine anyone at Google thinking this was a good idea to sell product as is. AVOID!

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It depends on a lot of factors. I think the Nest support is being way to optimistic. If it is recording multiple clips per day like 5 30 second clips it will last maybe a month or less. If you have device detection on and the camera turns off when you get home and the camera is inside I want to say 9 months according to the app. There is a lot of factors but I recommend looking at the accessories you can get it and make it work out in your favor.
