I installed (hidden) small UPS's on all cameras & WiFi router/modem (also hidden). Now even if a burglar kills home power "GOTCHA"! Cameras will turn on IR cut lights/filters at night and send video and alerts day or night. With some planning cameras are almost invisible and difficult to access, too.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No WiFi - No Camera
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Unfortunately the camera goes out as it needs wifi to record video and power to keep the camera functioning.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.IF A/C power is out, and you do not have a generator or APS back-up your camera is off and so is your WI-FI. Once power is restored, the camera and router are back up and running. You will also get a notification (if desired) sent to your cell phone that power was lost, and you will receive a notification when power is restored.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. If someone goes to the trouble of cutting power to your house you have bigger problems than video taping them. If you live in fear of a home invasion I suggest building a saferoom and investing in a higher end security solution. If that ends up being outside of what you were looking to spend I suggest getting a UPS for your router and your cams.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The camera is rendered useless unless you have a UPS for your power that will keep it powered up. If your Wifi goes out then nope it wont do anything.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You will loose everything it runs on electric. No battery back up wifi is used to remotely store the feed and monitor

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. If you have no wi-fi the camera doesn't work. It uploads to the web. If you have no power the camera is off.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. If your power goes out and you loose you internet connection or your wireless router isn't connected to some sort of battery powered type of device, then yes you will loose wifi service to your camera's if your power goes out.
