I found the night vision worked really well. Just as good, if not better, than a baby monitor.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Night vision is great, and we use it for a child monitor and have been satisfied. Our camera is at ceiling level and across room (approx 16 feet) and we can see into crib well, i would suggest placing closer for a baby if you want to see smaller movements, but for our 18 month old it works. We did learn that anything close to camera in the field of vision (i.e. top of dresser, wall, changing pad on same surface) will reflect the IR used for night vision and reduce the vision of evertyhing else in the field of vision. To us this mean a table top location wasn't great and a wall mount location was needed, and the almost 180 degree wide angle of the camera made this easy.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I am using 2 as baby monitors. They are great. Phone notify's you when there is movement. Night vision is better than the traditional baby cam we started with. You can use any smart phone, tablet, and many smart tvs to keep an eye on the kids from anywhere.
