I suggest Nest Outdoor Cameras as I own three for my outdoor monitoring. The image quality is amazing and you get a free trail of storage via Nest App and monthly fee isn’t bad at all. You can see and hear everything and add zones which will send you a push notification when motion or sound is heard and record the event. They are on the pricey side but one is $199 and two are $298.00. They are so powerful they do require the be plugged in but I have the wires hidden behind the door and house siding since the home was built in 1912. Wires are thin and can be ran easily into the attack or outside eve of the house itself. The wire can also be painted and the mounting kit comes with wire holders which look nice and professional if needed for use. My previous home we had home invasion and the camera footage before it was smashed was such great quality, the criminals were caught and prosecuted. Night vision is just as great as daylight hours! You can also view the cameras on the Google Home Hub which I purchased last night. It along with the 3 cameras were simple to install and set up in app and on Hub. The image is in medium quality until I call Comcast to up my internet speed as I have 12 things running only on 15mb/download and cameras lag if I place them on 1080, tomorrow I will upgrade to 250mb/download. It’s not the cams taking all the bandwidth, it’s all the other smart home products I have linked into my WiFi.
