Pop the doorbell off(unscrew it) and scan the QR code. It’s a pain, but I had to do the same thing.

Unfortunately, the only two ways to add the Nest Doorbell (Wired, 3rd Gen) to the Google Home app is either by the QR code or by the serial number on the back of the device.
