Nest controls both heating and cooling temps. It is designed to replace most normal thermostats.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.If your current thermostat controls both heating and cooling, the Nest will handle both. Only issue is if your current thermostat is a high voltage one. If it is, the Nest will not work. Check their website which will help you determine if your current system is high or low voltage. Nest only works on low voltage systems.
