Once you set the nest to your Wi-Fi with your phone. When u leave the house or go to bed can your teenagers go change the thermostat manually? That’s my biggest problem and I cannot seem to stop that. null

The Nest has a couple safeguards for unruly teenagers. It also might be worth some counseling to get those teenagers to listen to you while in your home.

You can lock the temperature setting with a password which prevents tampering

There’s a setting in there called create a pin or something similar. If you create a pin, they’ll need that pin to change it I believe.

To answer your question. yes!!! You can still Manually change the thermostat. I haven't explored the settings if it might be possible to lock it into that temperature.
