“How many wired 2nd Gen Smoke/Carbon alarms can be joined? Rather big house, split plan layout, I know all 3 bedrooms require one, then one in the dining room/living room and then family room I'm thinking a total of 5 or 6 units is this possible?”

Please try again later.Hard maximum of 18 units per "home" and a maximum of two "homes" per email account in the app. You can mix AC powered and battery powered units up to a max of 18. The most i've personally done was 8, this was in a semi-commercial setting. As long as your wifi network has the same SSID across the entire house, it wont be a problem at all.
