There is one way but you must sign up for the carriers online delivery account and waive your rights against the shipper to leave the item without a signature. This can be very dangerous so I would suggest that you find a friend that lives in that area and have it delivered to them. Also if you live an an international area and not in the USA, the phone is not guaranteed to work in an international locale.

Keep in mind your carrier (VZW), or card company may require it to be delivered to the same address as your debit/credit card. I say wait and pick it up at the store when you get back, or have it shipped to work.
