Can this tablet be paired with a Samsung A53 phone? null

In the same way any other Android phone can be paired! If your using Google Messages, you can send RCS/SMS messages to and from the tablet. Nearby Share let's you send files to and from your A53 and Pixel Tablet. And I'm sure many, many other things that I'm not even aware of!

You should be able to pair the devices through Bluetooth. Limited interaction is expected since the phone is not a Pixel. However, if you are pairing for the reason of phone calls/text messages, please refer to using Google's version of these application. Google Phone, Google Messages.

Not sure what you mean by paired. It is not a Bluetooth accessory. You can sync the Messages app between an Android phone.
