• I wouldn't throw that Mac book out just yet. I'm sure you'll find it can do mostly everything else though.

• No. You can get a feel for what is available for ChromeOS by visiting the Chrome web store in Chrome, the browser. You will find it is somewhat limited. It does not run Windows or MAC apps. The PixelBook also runs the majority of Android (yes phone) apps but those are clearly not Photoshop/Illustrator class applications. It does of course run any web application, in Chrome, so whatever is available by Adobe, MS (Office), etc via the web, runs beautifully.
