It is only a router and you will need to download the app and set it up from there. It is very simple. It walks you through it step by step.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Since you pay for wifi there is no additional charges. Just call your provider and tell them what you are doing so they can release the line...then just follow the app instructions.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The Google Wifi system is not an Internet Service provider, it is a router replacement and a good one at that. That is why there is no monthly fee. You still need service from your ISP. To set it up, install the free app and follow the instructions. It is ridiculously simple
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No there is no activation fee. It only needs a operational current WiFi router to attach too.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You have to set it up with the free google wifi app available in the Apple App Store or Google Play Store...you need a smart phone to set it up is the big point here. Also you manage the router from the app, what little managing there is to do...like setting it to family time and all that...it updates itself automatically. To the other question, there is no fee at all other than what your internet service provider charges you for internet access. Google does not charge any fee other than the cost of the router. To clarify, the internet connection is not from Google...just like a normal router, Google Wifi is just a device to broadcast that connection throughout your residence. The internet connection is still through your cable, dsl, or whoever you get internet from in your neighborhood. Google just manages the device broadcasting your internet very well and keeps your wireless network very secure.
